As familiar people know, plastic wrap can usually be divided into two types: PE and PVC. By comparison, food wrapped in PVC cling film looks brighter, while PE cling film is like a plastic bag, mostly used for household use. The wrapping film we mentioned in the title is a relatively poor quality PVC film, which has too many impurities or is not transparent and bright enough to be used for packaging food. Stretch film
In the transportation industry, the majority of packaged products are wrapped with wrapping film. For example, wrapping packaging for large pallets, containers, and boxes can also be used for short distance transportation and sales packaging, such as packaging for daily necessities. The reason why wrapped film is used for product packaging is because it can use the self-adhesive elasticity of the film itself to stretch and wrap the product tightly, relying on the surface viscoelasticity of the film and the tension used during use, thus achieving the purpose of protecting the product.
PVC cling film
Due to the need of production process, a large amount of plasticizer, which is what we usually call Plasticizer, will be added to the PVC fresh-keeping film during the production process. If PVC cling film is used under heating or in contact with oily food, the plasticizer contained in PVC cling film is prone to precipitation, which can cause certain harm to the human body and even cause cancer as food enters the body. However, PVC film is not a problem when used for fresh fruits and vegetables preservation.
